I'd love to see RSSBridge packaged in a way that you could update individual bridges directly from their repo. The official Cloudron app has the bridges in a read only folder. Lots of bridges are updated constantly, while the main app seems to be working without much problems. So as a consequence we don't get the fixed bridges on Cloudron, leading to more and more broken bridges, but with the app itself working as it should.

@odie the package can be adjusted to fix that.. just ask the team by creating a separate post for it

I did a while ago but it wasn't implemented. I can try again my previous suggestion, I can post again in this thread

Sorry for hijacking this topic. I will not post more about this in this topic.

Got it installing but for some reason the backend service fails and the output leaves a lot to be desired. But I'm still working on it!

@seeker Absolutely! Work got me swamped right now but it boots up on Cloudron (bookwyrm) however it keeps throwing some weird errors I'll be diving again this weekend to hopefully find a solution. I'm not familiar with bookwyrm so it's all a learning experience

I'd personally really like FacilMap - I think @timconsidine has packaged it but none of his many packages have yet made it into the new Community Apps, but presumably it won't take too much more work to get them in there...

Facilmap has been re-packaged as a community app.
Small delay as I attempt to build a publishing process.
              Other apps will follow.
I have messaged @James about getting it added to the category.
In the interim, for my own organisation, I will put all my community apps here : https://communityapps.appx.uk

@murgero Sorry for not responding sooner, I was on a multi-day rad motorcycle road trip with my son last week, weekend, and into this week! But thank you for working on it. I'm gonna try it out toute suite.

Would still quite like to have Akaunting, as still seems the best (only?) candidate for a free and open source accounting software alternative to QuickBooks / Xero (for accountants / business accounting).

@avatar1024 Lucky lucky! looks like it may be installable inside the LAMP app as that is a PHP app - I've not tested of course though - but you could try installing it directly in the php app and see what happens

That’s great to hear! I’d definitely be interested once it’s updated to the latest version. I’ve been testing it on another VPS and it works without any issues — it’s a great solution for a single user.

Bichon is another young promising contender in that category. Maybe worth looking into packaging it also.

@archos I have the code updated locally just haven't had a chance to test - work has been busy the past few weeks! Once I test and get it updated for custom deployment I'll put a request in to have it added to the custom apps list 🙂

I’d love to have a device wake-up app, namely UpSnap 😄 I wanted to run it on a Cloudron server, where it only works on the intranet. It’s the only app that’s a pleasure to use, both in terms of its look and functionality. I’d be happy to package it myself, but I haven’t coded for years, so I don’t know which tools were used or what configuration is needed to manage it all 😞

I’d have to learn everything all over again 😞
