Title: Mautic 7 on Cloudron – Official App Update Request

    • Main Page: https://www.mautic.org

    • Git: https://github.com/mautic/mautic

    • Licence: GPLv3

    • Dockerfile: Yes (official Docker images available)

    • Demo: https://www.mautic.org/demo

    • Summary:

    • Mautic 7 has been officially released and includes important improvements, dependency updates and long-term support changes.

    • I would like to ask if there are plans to update the existing Cloudron Mautic app to version 7, or if a timeline/ETA is already available.

    • Are there any known blockers (PHP version, database migrations, dependency changes, etc.) that currently prevent upgrading the Cloudron package?

    • Thanks for the great work maintaining the app!

Mautic 7 for some reason requires MySQL 8.4.0+ which is not in the ubuntu repos yet. So, this will require time or we have to wait it out for Ubuntu 26.04 which has it.

@girish Ubuntu 26.04 LTS seems to be available now. Is there already support for it with cloudron? How would the upgrade look like?

@dsp76 Cloudron 9.2 will contains mysql 8.4 . I just pushed this yesterday. @vladimir.d is already working on getting mautic up to speed.

As for Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, currently, DO/Hetzner/Linode don't have this yet. Where are you testing this?

... ah great! So also the LAMP stack has mysql 8.4 then?

Regarding Ubuntu - I only checked the availability. Didn't check with Hetzner yet. True - they need to support it in the first place.

Yes, LAMP will also have mysql 8.4 since the mysql instance is shared across all the apps (but only after Cloudron 9.2)
