Sanity-Check: Email Logs
-
I'm having trouble with email delivery to a specific @yahoo address. I use Freescout and Mailgun SMTP. From the Cloudron side, under
email > event logI can seequeued for outbound deliveryandsent. Are there any other logs to check to verify that the email was actually sent from the server so that I can attach it as proof when contacting Mailgun?P.S. I opened the
sentlog entry and is that a Borat reference I see?"response": "Great success",

Yes, it looks like it's contacting Mailgun if I expand the "sent" log entry (code below).
Long story: I sent multiple emails to the same problematic address back-to-back, but only some are received. Other times, none are received. The CR log for the "sent" entry shows it contacted Mailgun. I can also see the address in the Mailgun logs. The client says they're not receiving them and there's nothing in the spam/junk folder. Other Yahoo addresses receive my Freescout emails just fine. This has been going on for months now with this client. It's driving me mad. It's odd though. Why would some emails get delivered and not all?

Yeah, my last email got delivered as they replied back. I'll check the status for each email to see if I can spot any difference. If not, I'm positive it's on their end and that's all that I care about. I tried troubleshooting things with the client and I get vague responses back like they're a freaking politician and I'm an investigative reporter trying to expose them
