Broken transcoding?
-
I'm not exactly sure when this started happening, but after one of the recent updates, transcoding seems to have stopped working.
Whenever I try to request a transcoded audio stream, I get the following error in the logs:

I'm using Symfonium on Android, and previously it was able to request and play the transcoded stream without any issues under the same conditions.

I used Navidrome all the time (nearly always via Ultrasonic on my phone), but I don't even know if I actually ever request a transcoded audio stream, but happy to do some tests if that helps

(As an aside this is a handy reminder that I've been meaning to check out Substreamer too and I guess now Symfonium as well)

@WiseMetalhead I started getting errors in my iOS Amperfy app connecting to a navidrome instance. Also not sure when it started, haven't used it in a few days.

Hello @navidrome users
I will look into it.Edit:
error="exec: \"ffmpeg\": executable file not found in $PATH"The new Cloudron base image does not include
ffmpegby default anymore and thus it is now missing causing this issue.
An app update will be avilable soon to fix this issue. -

An app update will be avilable soon to fix this issue.Great, thanks. Very likely that all others media related apps will need this adding in too then, given how widely ffmpeg is utilised by such apps. Please could you check that out too @james ?
