      I'd like to be able to give SFTP access to someone who is not a user on my Cloudron - is this possible?

      If not I guess I'll create a user called sftpuser or something and then just use that, but I just wanted to check if it is possible first? 🙂

      I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

        @jdaviescoates maybe you can create an app password. This will give only SFTP access and if you have LDAP enabled, it will give access to the app as well.

          @girish interesting idea, thanks.

          But I do you mean e.g. create an app password using an already existing users profile? (I guess so, otherwise it still involves creating a new Cloudron user and then giving them an app password, no?)

            @jdaviescoates You can just create app password as your own account, no need to create a new user. The idea of app password is that the password only works for that one app. It won't work on the dashboard or any other app. The usual use case is for mobile apps or 3rd party client apps, which you don't want to trust with your primary cloudron password.

            It also has an advantage that you can revoke/delete the password anytime.
