    It would be nice if the Domain Setup page said
    "Setup A records for *.[example.com]. and [example.com]. to this server's IP."

    or
    "Setup A records for * and @ to this server's IP."

    instead of
    "Setup A records for *.[example.com] and [example.com] to this server's IP."

      @zylstra are you referring to the "." in the end of the domain name?

      I thought this was just a very technical DNS thing to know 🙂 but I am happy to fix it.

        @girish Actually I think this is correct as it is because it says setup A records for [domain] and not set the A record to [DNS entry]. To be 100% correct it should in fact say Set A records for [domain] to this server's IP though 😉

          @girish Yes, the "." at the end of the domain name is what caused me trouble today. Thanks!

          And, if I can be nitpicky, changing "Setup" to "Set up" or just "Set" is preferable. (Setup is a noun.)

            TIL. I went ahead and fixed ~20-30 places in the UI where we got that wrong. This and the it's / its always trips me 🙂
