HTTP 400 code "invalid mount config for type "bind": bind source path does not exist" when installing AdGuard Home

I tried installing AdGuard Home app for the first time, and unfortunately it failed immediately with the following error:

(HTTP code 400) unexpected - invalid mount config for type "bind": bind source path does not exist: /home/yellowtent/boxdata/certs/d19.ca.host.cert

Any idea why this might happen? Am I supposed to be mounting a volume to it or something? My boxdata folder is symlinked to an external disk, is that possibly a cause of this issue? I also noticed a recent update to it 12 days ago with a release note that seems like it coud be possibly related... fix bug where tls cert and key path were not set in the config file(https://forum.cloudron.io/post/28389)

I was going to test on the demo to reproduce, but this app is disabled in the demo. Any updates on this?

@girish No, I just wanted to try and help or see if this was still happening on behalf of OP. Sorry I do not have an active pro subscription to test further. I am not sure if this issue is still occurring.

Given the abuse potential, I would call it wise to disable this one on the demo just wanted to check

I haven't tried it since I posted it since it was a non-starter. I'll try it again soon and see if I still run into the same issue in case there was an updated version in the meantime.

@enesaydogan that gives me a good hint. Are you trying to install this in the bare domain? Do you get the same error if you install it in a subdomain?

@girish Speaking for myself, I tried it on a subdomain (I think I tried dns.<domain>), and that's the error I encountered and then reported it here.

@enesaydogan ok, I just realized from the error message that it is looking for .host.cert file. This means that it is using the "fallback" certificate i.e it couldn't get a proper certificate for the app and had to resort to using the fallback certificate. Can you see the app installation logs to see why it failed to get the cert? Can you also check if the file in the error message exists on the server?

@girish I realized I have boxdata as a symblink to an external disk which caused issues in restoring Cloudron before until it was later fixed... is it possible that is an issue in this app package too? Boxdata is where the certs are stored, right? Wonder if that's related here then.
