In 6.3.4 the notifications don't have a way to be dismissed individually. Is this on purpose?

It was nice to dismiss the items that aren't relevant or that I took care of so that other admins see what's left on the "stack".

@robi notifications have changed to be system level instead of per user - https://forum.cloudron.io/topic/4723/what-s-coming-in-cloudron-6-3/46 . also, the notifications always appear and only have a read/unread state (previously, if you dismissed a notification, there was no way to bring it back if you wanted to read it again).

I guess we could see if we improve the visual difference between unread and read notifications with the next release. Generally clicking on a notification will dismiss it / marked as read.

@nebulon Whilst I like the fact that read notifications are now kept, at some stage this list is going to get very long, so maybe a toggle to show unread / read notifications? And maybe also a purge function to remove older ones?

@ccfu currently, to keep things simple, notifications that are caused by events 10 days ago are automatically purged.

We've improved the visibility of unread notifications now a bit:

@girish could the purge be worthwhile to be configurable? It goes a bit beyond notifications, but a general system log could be interested. To see when apps where updated, users created, reboot, mail, maybe even user defined messages to note down messages like "disk replaced". I just realized that the more detailed logs are already covered in the event log.

But as it is, it's really useful already.

@girish unfortunately it's not true. Maybe a Bug?
