Update in September
-
@privsec do you have a link with more details what would change in September? We will of course try to make the package compatible, currently the package is designed to be "evergreen" so on every app restart, it would fetch the latests Valheim server version anyways.
-
@privsec I tested the dev branch of the Valheim server with the Cloudron app.
No problems so far.Be aware tho, this does not include BepInEx and ALL MODS that exist for Valheim.
If you run BepInEx Mod support there might be breaking changes.
I will have a look at that as soon as the release is stable. -

@privsec of course mods are risky since they are developed for a specific version by random people and not the main devs.
If IronGate (the Devs of Valheim) decide to change some core aspects this may brake many mods.
But I got a good feeling since the Devs are big advocates of the modding community and try to provide early information on such changes to the mod developers with dev branches for early testing.
So I assume many of the most used mods have already an update ready to go. -
@brutalbirdie Awesome!!!
OK, thank you @BrutalBirdie
