    Hi Guys,
It looks like Directus has finally been released as stable.

Is this something we can look to add to the official cloudron release?

@atridad has a custom app built on the release candidates that I assume would be a good starting point for this?

A follow on question for me would be, is there a way to migrate the directus custom app data on my cloudron instance into the official release app once it drops?

    Thanks
    Mark

I took a quick look into updating the package, it turns out they have rewritten everything from php to nodejs now. Generally this is good, but will essentially require a whole new package. @atridad you have a custom build for this we can take as reference?

@nebulon This is the link I know of:

          https://git.atridad.dev/CTPR/cloudron-directus9-app

Note that they are also working on porting the node version to PHP (Laravel), which is on their roadmap for Q4 next year.

I am confused. The project was in PHP to start with. They rewrote it entirely to node.js only to rewrite it again into PHP?

Per https://github.com/directus/directus/discussions/4407, the laravel one would be some community project whereas the node.js will be the real deal.

I have pushed a new package which is Directus 9 - https://www.cloudron.io/store/io.directus9.cloudronapp.html. The old package is now hidden in the appstore.

To migrate from 8 to 9, please follow https://docs.directus.io/configuration/upgrades-migrations/#manual-database-export-import . I have not tried the migration, so if you have any notes, feel free to leave them here.

@girish Is there an easy way to migrate from a Directus built from @atridad repo to the one in the appstore?

@ruihildt from what I can tell there is no import/export in directus. So, I think db export/import is the way to go.
