@loudlemur nice idea, although there is so much on https://selfhosted.libhunt.com/ I think it's probably best that Cloudron users use it as a research tool and manually curate the apps they most want into the App Wishlist thread
Saying that, as I understand it @staff would like to have the top 3 app in each category, so they could also use it to quickly see which apps in each category those are.

@loudlemur Sounds cool as a curation site as proposed by @jdaviescoates. Otherwise, imho it would not be suitable to add/embed this site in any way in Cloudron or its repository, as it has way too much advertising.
Not saying this is what you proposed, in fact I don't really get how you want to accomplish the "awesome" you wish.

Indeed, but we can still see the ads spots on a page and so still figure out there's way too much ads
