      Hi, just starting here. Wondering if it is possible to backup a Nexctloud instance and restore it outside of Cloudron, and/or export it directly to another instance.

      Basically, if I ever want to keep my Nextcloud instance and use outside of Cloudron, is that possible?

        @abargel Yes, a Cloudron backup will contain the database, config file and all your data. Should not be a problem to export it out. I guess you can also use the package code to recreate external setup - https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/nextcloud-app/

            @abargel keep in mind that you will not be able to log into LDAP accounts afterwards and your nextcloud will probably purge those accounts in the future.

              @abargel Also note the new user migration feature in Nextcloud 24. Should allow you to set up Nextcloud somewhere else (or indeed move to a managed service) and then simply move over a lot of relevant data (not everything for sure, but the core stuff).
