The history of open source translation platforms seems bumpy according to opensource.com. The article points to Weblate and Pontoon as future possible solutions.

The memory requirement alone for Weblate is 2 GB, which is why I want to find a more lightweight one. It's still probably the best candidate as it features LDAP authentication out of the box.

We would really like to see Weblate also! We're stuck with an older version of Zanata (which is excellent btw), because we don't have staff capable of updating it. I see the point for Cloudron to move forward with Weblate having better support and a runway before it, and I believe it compliments the APP mix very well. Please consider proceeding with this.
