Open Monograph Press

@robi I have run it before on a LAMP installation on a totally separate VPS, nothing special. But I am curious about it. The docs at https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/admin-guide/en/requirements look like it should work on a Cloudron LAMP (you know, I have this faint memory that I DID install it on LAMP app here.)

@jaschaezra For sure, one-click anything is convenient. If you need/want it now, then it's possible, is all I'm saying.

I would love to run Open Monograph Press with Cloudron.
The source is on GitHub
Nice one!

I've always liked the Principle of First Trust and Assume Good Faith from the great old meatball wiki (does anyone else here remember that?)
Also came across this recently:
Stop having a bad faith interpretation of every thing you read
If you think something someone said might have been something you disagree with, instead of starting an argument, ask them to clarify or ask them specific questions about what they said
You will be so surprised to find that half the people you assume are being shitty or negative just didn't phrase what they meant very well

https://mamot.fr/@pluralistic/109566662486277643I do not want to get too much off topic and this will be the last from me regarding this matter as the topic is still "Open Monograph Press" and not "Jascha is fracking annoyed by $thing"
I assume good faith but the last thing I want and need to hear after asking for a cloudron package is "you can do it by yourself by doing XYZ". Spoiler: I am already running it on a bare metal by myself. I just do not want to do this any more. I do not want to live in a shell anymore doing maintenance. There is a reason why I bought this product and I would love to have all the tools on cloudron. I know that this is not feasible but one can try. And I will try. But I am tired of getting answers to equations I do not ask.
Imagine me being someone not able to do configure the LAMP-stack app or to run something on bare metal because cloudron was easy to install and since then the shell has never been visited any more and you get this as an answer for a question. This would drive people away from this otherwise very helpful community. This is why I was annoyed.
If you like you can discuss this issue with me somewhere else but I would like to get back to the topic "Open Monograph Press". Thank you

@jaschaezra imho both @robi and @scooke were both clearly just trying to be helpful and even with your explanation I still find it hard to understand how something so small and unimportant could annoy anyone so much, but OK. Thanks for sharing, I guess.
(and I say this as someone who is someone who doesn't/ can't install stuff in LAMP. People regularly tell me I could install stuff on LAMP and it doesn't bother me in the slighest. It's not useful info for me, just like these contributions here weren't in the slightest bit useful to you, because as you've now said you're actually already running it yourself, but could still be very useful for other people reading this forum).
