I bought this module from FreeScout and activation and set-up all seems to go fine, but it does not work as advertised (It's supposed to send a Telegram notification for new FreeScout notifications, which it isn't).

I opened an issue on GitHub. They don't see an issue with my settings and there are no errors in the FreeScout logs.

Wondering if something about Cloudron's hosting of the app could perhaps be the cause of this plug-in not working as intended?

I'm not really sure how to begin looking into this, if anyone has any leads.

@jordanurbs followed up in the github issue to see if we can get some dev license to debug this directly.

So it seems the app needs a restart to make the artisan process pickup some values for Telegram. I have reported this upstream, in case there is a bug or maybe some clarification if that is to be expected.

@nebulon I restarted the app and Cloudron but now the module is not recognizing the Telegram chats that the bot has been added to.

I have been following the GH issue thread and will try again when there seems to be some resolve.

            Cheers for your efforts 🙂

@nebulon I see everyone has figured it out. Thanks!

Should I wait for a package update to FreeScout before trying again?

                Sounds like it to me:

We will update the package once FreeScout 1.8.49 is officially released.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
