Freescout: Helpdesk & Shared Mailbox

Given it is LAMP stack based this should be rather simple to package. The LDAP module however is a paid module, so we won't be able to readily integrate that easily. https://freescout.net/module/ldap/

I use freescout in production with the cloudron LAMP stack. I had to use nested environment variables within the .env file but besides that the manuel setup was straight forward. The LDAP module is a one time payment and rather cheap. For now, I use the trial for testing.

Freescout is absolutely awesome, fast and easy "shared mailbox".
Would love to see this in an CloudronApp, I know 2 organizations using Cloudron will immediately start using this app.

@nebulon I see here https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/freescout-app an app with the comment "Basic installation without setup". I can't wait to see this great app in the Cloudron store
Keep up the good work!

Hopefully it's relatively easy to integrate LDAP if one purchases the paid module?

To give an update, this app is mostly functional by now, since after our user setup script changes were merged https://github.com/freescout-helpdesk/freescout/pull/520
Would love to see this in the app store!

To give a small update here. The app package is mostly done. What is missing is the LDAP support, which we are working with FreeScout support to get that sorted out. The app will be packaged with optional cloudron user-management, since the LDAP module in FreeScout is a paid addon, thus we cannot solely rely on this.

Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention again. Last time I checked, the plugin was not yet compatible with Cloudron, however since then there were some upstream fixes. I will test this again today or tomorrow and will see, if we can fixup also the app package to give access to the LDAP server.
