    That is pretty LOW!

    So you put up a CLOUDRON INSTALL SCRIPT at the Linode.com Marketplace and Marked it with the MASTADON ICON and all of the clickable info just referred to a straight MASTADON install on a Linode volume.

    I thought I was getting a direct install because that is what you obviously intended by this deception.

    So the install process at Linode gave no outward sign that I was not getting a from the source Metabase install -- but you were installing CLOUDRON.

    You have a fine product but I have to question your ethics in all matters by such a LIE.

    Only when I had finished the Linode Marketplace "Mastadon" install did I learn that NO, Mastadon had NOT been installed, but Cloudron was the actual install at my domain.
    And I now had to create a virgin Cloudron Account to go finally select MASTADON -- the Cloudron version.

    WHY would your company put your Trojan horse into the Linode.com Marketplace and use the Mastadon icon and misleading clickable info?

      @DeBossNow Next time before writing a post, verify who created the Mastodon script. According to the website, the Mastodon script was created by Linode.

      CLOUDRON:

          @DeBossNow
          What you are describing sounds like a very odd but unlikely error in the Linode Marketplace. Or you deployed the wrong app.

            @ccfu The two scripts are clearly marked differently, and even if somehow the icon had been switched, the setup process for each are soooo different that any honest normal person would realize there was a mixup. This is just weird spam for some bizarre reason.

              If only people reacted this way with much more mundane stuff that is done to trick people with their health, taxes, food, etc.

              It pays to pay attention, and come out of the trance of limited expectations.

                @DeBossNow It's terrible etiquette and behavior to go around accusing and vilifying (us or anyone for that matter) without verifying something. How would you feel if something did this with you? There are humans in the end of this forum, you know. You are totally not welcome here if you want to continue with such language and behavior.

                We don't even maintain the Cloudron script at Linode, it's all done by Linode. So, take all your queries to them.
