hey everyone.
its been a wile.
i had to make new account, as i have my 2FA codes lost.
i also lost the 2FA key to my password manager lost, so i couldn't get in my cloudron forum account.
but hey, at least being locked out is better than getting data stolen.
sorry i've been gon.
during my time, i still have not found any good hosting solutions, but i'm still working on it.
write now, i'm havintg to recover some of my accounts.
but hopefully i should be back on track soon.

What did you use to manage your 2FA codes?

@adisonverlice2 welcome back. that's rough, losing access to your password manager.

Did you lose your ssh keys as well? Because as long as you can ssh into the server, you can "recover" cloudron.

however, there are on a school-authorized computer.
not that i cant recover them, however, i'm looking for a security key (sutch as nitrokey) to see if i can back them up securely and get them off my computer as soon as possible.

@humptydumpty i used my selfhosted password manager.
the password manager had a key.
also did you want to get rid of me or something?

this also means i lost access to every single password i ever had.
my cloudflare account, and (sourta) my google account.
luckily, i did put a backdoor on my braillenote (known as a passkey) to where i can sign back in skipping 2FA, and potentially even reset some things.

also, i should ask, why does this thing have to send you emails?
o well, luckily i setup an alias that can be disabled at anytime in the case that i get annoyed.
i use simplelogin for my dayly email
