Just fyi - Mautic 4.4.10 would also run with PHP8.0. With upcoming Mautic 5 also PHP8.1 will be supported.

Given that PHP7.4 (currently in use for Mautic Package) is longer EOL than 8.0 - would it make sense to upgrade the PHP version for the package?

We have delayed the upgrade to php 8 since it appears 4.4.10 does not support php 8.1 which is what is in our latest app base image. Once Mautic supports 8.1 we will put it on the latest base image.

            Mautic v5 was released "on-time"!

I say "on-time" because it was originally scheduled for release over a year ago. But it's out now! It looks like it is a lot more performant.

@Dave-Swift Have you upgraded to version 5 from within the app?

No, I don't think that would go well. Mautic 5 requires php 8.1 and the Cloudron install is at 7.4. I'll wait for the update 🙂

I have managed to update the package to Mautic 5 but the LDAP plugin needs to be updated because of upstream changes. Looking into this.

Will the package update be a composer based installation, so we can use the Mautic Marketplace?

Also heads up - there are changes with the location of the config file.
                      https://www.mautic.org/blog/community/mautic-5-beyond-expectations-beyond-limits

There is now 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 is about to be there also in short time (according to the mautic community channels).

@micmc never ever upgrade from within the app 😉
Especially not when you are using the managed version here in Cloudron.

Any update on that one pal?
Looking forward for that update, with Composer and access to the marketplace etc. Take care.
