Reddit is going to be floated on the stock market. There is likely to be a lot of interest in /r/redditalternatives.

Does Cloudron have something in place to offer people as an alternative or any plans to use this occasion to broaden its userbase?

I can't think of anything.

Be great to get Lemmy on Cloudron.

I think Flarum can be set-up to be a bit Reddit-like too.

I've not looked into it, but presumably so could WordPress, NodeBB and Discourse with the right plugins.

Gab.com CEO, Andrew Torba, recently mentioned that his new product, Gab.ai is not just an artificial intelligence, it will be a search engine too, when it goes online. He is very bullish about its potential and quite damning about how Google management has failed its company and the talented people who work there.
