I use INWX as my DNS provider for all my domains (6). I would love to use the automatic DNS setup.

    INWX offers an API.

I tried to get how this node.js stuff works. I never did node.js in my life and I thought it can not be that hard to write a connector for cloudron but oh did I know nothing.

I have no idea how hard it is to work from the official node.js client - I just know I can not do it.

If anyone is capable of doing this I volunteer to test and I would very much appreciate any help on this.

I would very much welcome that as well. Inwx is fast in updating the nameservers.

If Netcup does not solve its problems with the API, a switch to inwx would be advisable. Since they also offer an API, I support this request.

Is there any chance to get this done?

Why do you like INWX? I see they have cheap .pro domains US$ 3.02

They are inexpensive but also professional. Changes to the name servers are implemented in seconds. I have had negative experiences with Netcup, for example, where changes took hours. You can also create multiple domain contacts and assign domains to your customers.

Will the topic be pursued further?

Looks like there is a node module for this https://github.com/inwx/nodejs-client . So, this should make integration much simpler. Can give it a quick try.
