VPS provider with both block and object storage options?

https://vultr.com offers VPS with block storage (e.g. for your storage heavy Cloudron applications like Peertube or Immich) and object storage (for your backups).

Are there any other VPS providers which offer both Object and Block storage? Why aren't there more of them?

Have you managed to use OVH storage for Cloudron backups and block storage for holding application data?

@LoudLemur the extra storage space you see is separate from the VM and triple replicated, I always saw that as block storage because that’s exactly how it is when using the OVH Public Cloud instead of the VPS, assumed they were basically the same thing other than the lack of granular storage size selection. Maybe I’m wrong in that technicality though, if you were wanting to instead specify the exact storage amount you want.

And yes I’ve used the OVH Object Storage before however I don’t use it anymore as to keep my backup files at a different provider for extra redundancy. That way if OVH ever randomly terminated my services I can still restore Cloudron elsewhere using the backup from IDrive (in my case).

Scaleway, IBM and any other provider that has added Object storage. So the better approach is to look for object storage providers and see if they have VPS offerings too.
