Hello,
are there any restrictions to run Matrix Synapse on a Home PC which isn't behind a static WAN IP ?
Regards Lukas
I mean is there any issue If my WAN IP changes every 24 hours? I want to move my Cloudron to my Home PC
AFAIK, the protocol is entirely domain based. The IP address is not relevant. So, you should be OK as long as the server has good network connectivity and your DNS provider updates fast enough.
@girish thank you, then I move my stuff from VPS to Home PC
I can confirm, my personal matrix instance also runs from home with changing IPs
Just an small update, moving my cloudron from VPS to my Intel NUC went very smooth, thank you @girish and @nebulon for your great work
