The first time I had problems with Immich was recently. None of the albums were showing thumbnails and the images were not viewable. I have 5 backups. None of them would work. After trying to use them, I couldn't get the Immich to work at all.
I tried going into Cloudron services and toggled the postgres extension, and that did start Immich again, however you start from scratch. It is like losing your Immich and starting again without any contents or albums.
I just thought I would let people know. The Immich developers did say that it is under heavy development and shouldn't be used for production at the moment...

Actually no data should be lost. The extension is only for face/object detection as such and thumbnails as well as other meta info is unrelated, but without the postgres extension enabled, the app just won't start fully which is why it appears that things are gone. After enabling the extension you can manually retrigger all jobs directly or just wait for the app to catch up.
