I've been using Cloudron for a few years now, specifically on shared domains where I also host other resources. Recently (past few weeks), I've encountered issues. These issues can manifest in two ways:

    • Cloudron app certificates become invalid, although the main Cloudron dashboard seems to function normally.
    • My other resources on the same domain become inaccessible or unable to renew their certificates.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot these conflicts arising from using Cloudron apps on shared domains?

Do you have any error logs from the failing certificate renewal? Cloudron will attempt many times, long before the certs will expire. So those attempt must have failed a few times then?

You may also try to manually renew them via https://docs.cloudron.io/certificates/#manual-renewal

The logs button is in the right of the section's header in a drop down. Sometimes, this is not obvious.

@nebulon nope, the odd part is the dashboard reports all renewal attempts as green.

@SamGreenwood Currently, even if the renewal fails, as long as there is a valid cert (i.e the existing one), it will show as green. Arguably, we should fix this. In the meantime, look into the logs as to why it's failing.

I apologize, I've been really busy. Ended up just being a combination of me setting conflicting DNS records and issues with Let's Encrypt ACME verification. I fixed both and everything is working properly now.
