This is my first install of Cloudron and I found it because I was looking for something that could easily help me host Element/Matrix. Sadly matrix-synapse does not work out of the box of me for whatever reason.

App Title and Version Matrix Synapse 1.104.0
    Package Version org.matrix.synapse@1.91.0
    Last Updated 5:18 PM

Some help would be greatly appreciated. The installation seems to have gone just fine in the event log.

@gargamel8 works here. I am wondering if this is because you don't have hairpin nat in your network? Are you setting this up in an internal network? If so, can you quickly try re-installing matrix without Cloudron authentication (OIDC) ? You get this option at install time.

@girish It must be because of the lack of hair-pinning indeed. Sadly my ISP does not allow me to use my own router. I have a Sagemcom router. What would be the easiest way for me to solve this problem.

@gargamel8 you can run cloudron-support --troubleshoot to double check if that is indeed the problem.

@gargamel8 ok, there are some suggested solutions at https://docs.cloudron.io/troubleshooting/#hairpin-nat . Maybe something works for you.
