Kavita Library Folder

@LoudLemur On Cloudron, '/app/data` is the only viable location.
Kavita is quite picky on the folder naming convention. Each type of content has a different structure. See https://wiki.kavitareader.com/guides/scanner/managefiles

I am loading a huge amount of books, papers, word docs, ePub, PDF, Mobi files into Kavita. My question is, "Is is best to convert these files to ePub or Mobi from TXT and DOC?"
Right now I am having a lot of issues with getting books and chapters organized particularly with txt and doc files. Would making sure all the meta data in the doc files help with the scanner doing its function?

@gregorywest501 What I gathered from the other thread was that you are not using Cloudron and this was about your docker based setup... May be you can give Cloudron a try or you can try if kavita is able to import in our demo instance at https://my.demo.cloudron.io (username/password is cloudron)
