File Manager Misbehaves
-
Hi
When we try to edit the config files using the File Manager for any app this happens:
(Example with Matrix)- Edit file: homeserver.yaml (owner: cloudron)
- Click: Save + Close
- In the folder there is a new file: homeserver.yaml.1 (owner: root)
- Click: Restart App
- The new file has changed owner: homeserver.yaml.1 (owner: cloudron)
- And there aren't any changes performed inside: homeserver.yaml (owner: cloudron)
- The changes aren't applied in the app
Is it possibly something that we are doing wrong, or is it just a temporary bug?

Thank you @nebulon
Please release the next patch when possible, because this means that we can't do any config editions to any of the Apps

I have just had a similar case with version 8.0.2. I checked to make sure there was a new version, so I updated to the latest version (8.0.3).
After the update the problem continues. The attempt to change the file was in the app โLAMPโ

@matix131997 maybe you have to refresh the browser? The issue should be fixed in 8.0.3
@girish
Interesting case, for 2 days it failed. There were attempts after clearing the browser, a trial on another device. Today it just started to work but for that it changes the permission after saving the file from โwww-dataโ to โrootโ.Edit: Good with the entitlement is good, just need to refresh the page.
