        @ahummel So, you are on Cloudron 7.7.2 correct ? Does curl https://releases.cloudron.io/versions.json on the server work? Can you check if host releases.cloudron.io 127.0.0.1 works on the server as well ?

          host releases.cloudron.io 127.0.0.1
          Using domain server:
          Name: 127.0.0.1
          Address: 127.0.0.1#53
          Aliases:

          releases.cloudron.io has address 165.227.67.76
          releases.cloudron.io has IPv6 address 2604:a880:800:10::b66:f001

          and the curl commands show a large json with every version.

          I tried it under the root account

            @ahummel curl error 6 means dns error (could not resolve). But it seems it can resolve fine now. One last check, does host release.cloudron.io also work (without the 127.0.0.1) ? If that also works, everything is good. Can you try updating again ?

              I will check up later this evening.
              Automatic updates are scheduled, normally daily but now i have scheduled it once in a week.
              The reason, every time it tries to update the cloudron version and could not success, the unbound service is down and i have to restart it manually. That is very annoying!

                  I am using cloudron since a long time and never had issues.

                  Will it help to add it temporarily to /etc/hosts ?

                      Sorted out on support. This had to do with some efi package blocking apt updates and thus the update stopped mid way.
