OpenID times out in WordPress?

I've ran into this as well. I thought it's related to Wordfence & WF login security and didn't look into it further. It's been like this way before the openid additions, even for my local wp user accounts.

Additional Error related to that: If you are logged into WordPress, some pages on your site force you to login again, although you are already logged in. And even if its a public page.
Might be related to the WordPress bar that shows when logged in (but openID timed out). No issue though for public visitors.
