This bug seems to have snuck into the Cloudron build https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/22064

Unclear what the fix is at this point

Maybe this yarn lock thing would fix it? https://forum.ghost.org/t/html-encoding-issue-in-emails-nbsp-amp-etc/54798/9

Hmz, one of my emails recently had ' too (instead of project's it was project's)

The email looked fine in Gmail, but not in SnappyMail / Nextcloud Mail / Roundcube installs.

And in the top left and right of the email there was a random   too

It seems they deprecated that buggy release - https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/22064#issuecomment-2623543536 . I have accordingly revoke the package. But note that the release still appears in Ghost GitHub Releases 🤷

Usually, they release often , so a fix is probably underway soonish.

They still aren't happy with v5.108.2 and recommend rolling back.

                  https://forum.ghost.org/t/html-encoding-issue-in-emails-nbsp-amp-etc/54798/18

Any guidance on how to do this in my cloudron deployment? My members are getting cranky.

@wmlutz that seems to be from 14 days ago. It was some old version 5.108.1 . Cloudron package and latest ghost are already on 5.109.4 .

The fix mentioned there has already been released (see https://forum.ghost.org/t/html-encoding-issue-in-emails-nbsp-amp-etc/54798/13 ) and has already been on Cloudron for a while as @joseph just mentioned 🙂
