Possible bug in Monica app? ( related to email verification )



  • Hi!

    I'm having trouble with Monica app.

    The user I invited was able to sign up with desired email and password -- but he did not receive an email to verify his email address. ( the verification email never arrived to his inbox nor spam folder )
    Is this a bug?

  • I was not able to reproduce this on my Cloudron. However just to be sure to be on the same page, you have configured this for multiuser and haveAPP_SIGNUP_DOUBLE_OPTIN=true set in/app/data/env ?

    From what i recall, we already verified via chat, that test mails from your cloudron to the account in question are sent out just fine. Did you send out those test emails from the same domain, where monica is installed?

    Yes, I sent out those test emails from the same domain where monica is installed.

    I do have it set to multi-user which I assume is "visible to all users on this cloudron " and no, I have not set APP_SIGNUP_DOUBLE_OPTIN=true in /app/data/env. I'll try that soon.



  • I changed that option to true and re-invited him as a collaborator... It didn't work :(
