[Bug?] “Trusted IPs & ranges” settings not applied when migrating
-
Hi,
I migrated a Cloudron 9.1.3 instance between two VPS.
When I migrated from VPS_A to VPS_B, network settings has not been effective.
I had an IP list in Network > Firewall > Trusted IPs & ranges
This IP list was populated, but to be effective.
To “solve” I had to save again settings. Then, the list has been applied.
Let me know if you can reproduce this issue.

Thanks for reporting. Fixed - https://git.cloudron.io/platform/box/-/commit/8ef56c6d91684bf34b25071aca0b8d6658aadcc9

G girish has marked this topic as solved

Thanks @girish for your prompt response. Above Fix is related also to “Blocked IPs & ranges"?
Because, I forgot to say, the same issue happened also to “Blocked IPs & ranges” after instance moved.
Thanks again
@p44 yes, that is fixed as well.

@girish hi, please can you check also Network > IPv6 setting? It seems that is not persistent across instances when migrated. I had IPv6 disabled in source instance, but it was enabled after migration.
@p44 the IPv6/IPv4 settings are determined based on the settings in the restore UI -> advanced. These are dynamic because they are dependent on the server where you are migrating to. For example, IPv4 servers moves to IPv6 capable server OR IPv6 server moves to IPv4 only server. If the setting is not dynamic, after restore you may not be able to reach Cloudron dashboard.
