    • Title: Instatic on Cloudron - Visual website builder/CMS with clean static output

    • Main Page: https://instatic.com/
    • Git: https://github.com/CoreBunch/Instatic
    • Licence: MIT
    • Dockerfile: Yes
    • Demo:

    • Summary: Instatic is a modern, open-source, self-hosted visual CMS and website builder. It combines a visual canvas editor, structured content management, media, authentication, forms, plugins, AI-assisted editing, and static publishing within a single Bun server.
    • Unlike many visual website builders, Instatic publishes plain semantic HTML and compact CSS without including the editor runtime, builder-specific attributes, or unnecessary framework code on the public website. It supports SQLite for simpler installations and PostgreSQL for larger or multi-author deployments.

    • Notes: Instatic looks like a promising self-hosted alternative to hosted visual builders such as Webflow and Framer, as well as WordPress page-builder stacks. I especially like its focus on clean, portable HTML output, full ownership of the website and data, built-in forms and media management, and the option to use AI models through your own provider credentials.
    • The project already provides a production Dockerfile, Docker Compose configurations, a published GHCR image, health-check support, and documented persistent-storage requirements, which should make it a reasonable candidate for Cloudron packaging.
    • The main concern is that Instatic is still a very new, pre-1.0 project. Breaking changes may occur between minor or patch releases, so the Cloudron package may initially require careful version pinning and upgrade testing. The currently documented v0.0.11 container image is also limited to linux/amd64; ARM64 installations currently need to build from source.

    • Alternative to: Webflow, Framer, Webstudio, WordPress page builders, and other visual CMS platforms.

Wow, imho this is one of the most innovative CMS I've seen in a long time.
And it looks to be FAST, ho yeah...
Thanks for sharing that would be a nice addition to Cloudron.
