There are no more new upstream releases since 2024 so we will also retire the app from the public listing. See the last status at https://rubygems.org/gems/github-pages
Some alternative we have moved to is the deployment feature in surfer it is not yet documented much but basically it allows for easy integration into a ci/cd system to publish pages which are then built by something like hugo
