Any reason why an app was not made for it? Is it because of the missing LDAP connector?

Limited interest ? although it does have 19 votes, I guess.
More likely because it can be deployed through the available LAMP deployment.
But it seems many have a reluctance or resistance or unfamiliarity with doing this.

Deploying it is easy enough but that's more maintenance. Cloudron team is not maintaining it like other apps on the app store. Could break.

Really ? I don't get that impression about the LAMP app. I have several deployments.

At the end of the day, @staff get to choose which apps they package, because yes, maintenance is important, and if Grocy is made into a packaged app, then that falls on them, with a finite resource. Seems like you want to shift the maintenance burden to them. Fair enough in some ways, but if they don't want to take it on, none of us have a right to moan about it, or be demanding.

If the app is so useful to you, I recommend it deploying it in LAMP, or building your own package and maintaining it. With no criticism of Cloudron, you could be waiting months or years for it to be an official app.

@timconsidine I think you misunderstood me a little. Anyway, I just wanted to know the reasons why it wasn't an app. Just good to know the issues that people faced deploying as a LAMP app and also how Cloudron team decides what app should be packaged. Chill Tim.
