Sorry of this has been covered elsewhere but I could find it.

All cloudron users are set as normal users in kanboard and this cannot be changed. Anyone else noticed that?

      Steps to reproduce for me:

      • Log in with a Cloudron user (myself who is superadmin) > there is no admin rights
      • Log off
      • Log in to the application as the admin user
      • Edit the previous user and change the role to Manager or Administrator and save the changes.
      • Log off
      • Log in with the new user > still no admin rights
      • Log off
      • Log in with Admin user
      • Go to user list
      • Check the role of the user > it is set back as a normal User

      Info here might help: https://github.com/kanboard/kanboard/issues/3002

I can reproduce the problem. The linked GitHub issues talks about LDAP group sync but Cloudron does not enable LDAP group sync. Let me check why it's overwriting the role.
