Hi guys!
The default configuration of Mautic in Cloudron does not allow connecting to the Gravatar IP to download the images and therefore they appear as broken.
In the Mautic support forum they give the solution to open ports 80/443 to the IP of wp.com 192.0.78.24
Is this possible or is it necessary to wait for an update?

@martinkbs Cloudron apps can connect to any sites including gravatar. In our mautic instance, we do see gravatars. To double check, did you change the admin's email address in the account view? The default admin email is
admin@cloudron.localwhich won't have a gravatar.
