I have submitted https://github.com/ampache/ampache/issues/2810 for this
Essentially, I have the subsonic API enabled on the user permissions level, I generated an API key for the user signed into the mobile app play:sub for iOS.

When I attempt to play a file, it gives me an error message that says "unable to play file".

I have also reached out to the play:sub support email for assistance on this.

I'll keep this thread updated with information

This appears to potentially caused by a packing issue with cloudron?

I am on version 4.4.0 in ampache, however, I can not use a more updated version of the config file. When I try to update the config file manually It still uses the config file version 46, not the updated version of 49. Even though version 49 is for version 4.4.0 of ampache.

I will test this and follow up if this is a packaging issue.

@privsec I found the issue, it's a bug in the package (I put a note in the GitHub issue). Should have a new package out tomorrow.

@girish Good work! Ampache is pretty decent all things considered and uses less resources than subsonic/airsonic.

Thank you so much for that!
