Hey guys, I was gone for awhile, but I'll be submitting a few PRs. I have to collect all of my notes. But there were a few things I needed to add that @girish hasn't yet.

I did want to ask if anyone knows off-hand, does Cloudron only display the Domain Alias configuration in the Settings pane if the site is a subdomain installation? I have a subdirectory system installed - and the option isn't showing. I'll installl a subdomain one and see if I get the option on the Cloudron Dashboard.

Anyway, stay tuned in this thread as I'll be posting my progress. Hope everyone has been well!

PS. Don't worry, I'm still releasing my OpenVPN Client for Cloudron app this summer after I speak with @girish about integrating it directly into the dashboard (which is the way we all decided was the most practical to add this feature to Cloudron). Stay tuned for that in a different thread. I want to work on Wordpress stuff first!

The alias configuration should always appear. Are you using unmanaged WP and also the latest? The alias UI shows up based on https://docs.cloudron.io/custom-apps/manifest/#multidomain flag in manifest.

@girishI'm on V6.1.1 of Cloudron and installed and I installed the Wordpress Developer Edition from scratch while on 6.1.1.

I turned Wordpress into multi-site the same way I always do, does your flag require me to "Enable Multisite" a special way so the Domain Aliases will show up?

@lonkle I forgot I turned automatic updates off, Domain Aliases are supported in v6.1.2. 🤦

But on top of that, you should note that you only enabled Domain Aliases on subdomain multisite installs, not subdirectory multisite installs. Both of those types of Multisite Modes support multi-domains. That's important to note since many like to use subdirectories and still use multiple domains.
