Is the text "Running" superfluous?

@marcusquinn Interesting idea.
I don't object to seeing 'Running' but certainly seeing "error" in red would be helpful for not responding state. Not only the red, but contrast of seeing some text for stopped or error would stand out more when all running apps have no text.
The most useful change for me would be to use the slot for the core domain of the app in smaller font. If you have e.g. 2 x Grav installs serving blog.xxx.com and blog.yyy.com, displaying the rest of the domain name instead of hovering over them to find out would be positive. Of course display label can be used, but usually not enough space for longer core domain name in bigger font as now. Difficult to predict lengths required.

@timconsidine the TLD part could be shortened from
blog.somelongdomain.com
toblog.som..ain.com

This topic in a nutshell --- much ado about nothing. Yawn!

I like the the idea, generally I am in favor of reducing visual noise, especially since the 6.3 will have an always visible cog icon in the app tile, which may or may not be kept (I will ask for feedback on this one the release is out).
Regarding this now, I will experiment in just not showing the Running label, but so far I would not add another label or free-text field to show instead.

@msbt Good point.
The current band-wagon of 'dark themes' can sometimes be very helpful for visual impairment, but is often very difficult with trendy 'shades of grey' or poor contrast, micro-text and undecipherable micro-icons
I'm not significantly visually impaired, but do wear glasses, and really struggle with some sites. Obviously designed by young people with perfect sight, it seems !
Don't make it too small. Don't reduce colour contrast.
Just my2p.
