Wordpress appearance and settings tabs have disappeared

I recently noticed after the wordpress update that I am no longer able to see wordpress appearance or seetings tab and I am unable to adjust the websites pages and tabs.

@garyhost Hey Gary. This may be a bit of an obvious one, but are you certain you're using the correct user with appropriate permissions, or maybe an admin user changed your user's role / privileges which are now limiting your abilities?

yes, this is most likely because you are logged into WP as a user who is not admin. Can you please double check?
