Fresh install of Lychee, I get the following error.

    Server error or no API

Is there more to do other than just installing the app?

    Thanks!

@girish, can you elaborate? I just installed this (11/23/2021) and I'm getting the same error. How does it sort itself out? Does the app require extra time setup?

@colonelpanic We never found out what the issue, the user's app was working when we saw the support ticket.

Upstream similar issue has been reported - https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/issues/1080 and https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/issues/690 but it's not clear what the issue is. Do you see this even if you re-install ? Maybe you can restart the app (under Repair section) and see if that helps?

@girish, thanks for following up. I tried a handful of things:

    • Stop & start of the Lychee app.
    • Full Reboot of the Cloudron Server.
    • Uninstall and reinstall of the Lychee app.
    • Increased allocated memory.

I believe it was due to the allocated memory. I increased it from 256MB to 1GB this morning and everything is working fine. I can do some further testing when I have time to see if I can reproduce it. Either way, I'm now able to upload a photo (or multiple photos simultaneously). It would error uploading a single 5MB photo before this change.

    Thanks again!
