I’m excited to announce the launch of Mixpost Lite v1.0.1 🎉
This release marks an important milestone for me as it is Mixpost's first official release.

There are three ways to install Mixpost Lite:

I signed up for a Pro Team license and sent the developer (Dima) a message about Cloudron. He said he's thinking of adding Mixpost to the CR appstore! No ETA (didn't ask) but that's still good news nonetheless.

I just asked about that too and he said:

I plan to adapt Mixpost for Cloudron. But after I launch Pro Team. Because I want to succeed with what I promised. Then I will take care of Cloudron and other requirements.

@girish I think they likely will when they get to it. Their plan is to deliver what they've already promised, i.e. from the pricing page on their website:

We expected to launch Mixpost PRO in a couple of months (Mixpost PRO Team by the end of Q1, 2023, and Mixpost PRO SaaS by the end of Q2, 2023).

And then work on a Cloudron app. So it won't be for a while.

But they are already aware of this thread and I've pointed them to the pinned app packaging post too

@girish I contacted Dima regarding the Pro Team packaging and he said that would require a separate package than the lite because he's unsure what Cloudron's policy is regarding paid software. Is it an issue to have a paid-only app in the CR appstore?

I am the creator of Mixpost. Nice to see this discussion here.

Mixpost Lite and Pro have been released and I'm ready to have a discussion about listing these apps in the Cloudron Store.

@girish What are the steps and conditions necessary to list the applications on the Cloudron store?

Hi @lao9s Usually to list it in the Cloudron Store it's just needed to create an App Package that is adjusted to the Cloudron System. Here is the Documentation/Tutorial

The main work here is to install Mixpost to a new Docker Image which is based on the official Cloudron Docker Image. There are some special requirements because of this, eg. only /tmp /run and /app/data is writable for the App.
