OpenProject SMTP configuration greyed out in admin account, uses Cloudron relay instead of working third party relay.

I'm unable to make any changes to OpenProject SMTP configuration.

Any idea as to why it would be greyed out?

@nothing on Cloudron, you have to setup a relay at the domain level. See https://docs.cloudron.io/email/#relay-outbound-mails . Once setup, all apps on the domain will send mail via the relay. It's a centralized setup.

@girish Hi Girish, yes I did setup a SMTP relay which is working for other apps, however, for OpenProject it is insisting I use the Cloudron internal relay and any attempt to change configuration in OpenProject is unsuccessful as it is greyed out.

Is there any reason it is not using the SMTP relay I have setup, but instead internal SMTP server?

@nothing On Cloudron, all apps use the internal mail server. The internal mail server relays out depending on your relay configuration.

Not sure I completely understood your problem. Why are you trying to change the SMTP configuration inside OpenProject ? You shouldn't have to do this.
