Manual Update - Help

Hi everybody,
I'm new to this forum and new to Snipe-It.
I installed it on a Linux VM into my LAN. I tried updating it manually a few days ago but without success, so I used the upgrade.php script.
The update procedure was performed successfully but I have some doubts:

• Last available stable version of Snipe-It is 6.1.2 (. Why mine was updated to 6.2.0-pre? Is there any way to choose whic version will be installed?
• Manual update procedure isn't very clear, at all. Could someone explain it to me better? I understood which file and directories I have to copy/overwrite, but I have some problems with composer and artisan.

Hi, just for clarification, are you running Snipe-IT on a Cloudron installation? This is the Cloudron forum and on Cloudron, app updates are pushed by us and installed via the platform not with update scripts from the apps itself.

Hi. I'm not running Snipe-IT on Cloudron installation. I'm sorry, I thought it was a generic forum not specific for Cloudron. I will publish the post on a right forum.
