Migrate a Cloudron app to self-hosted version -
Storage limits per-app@girish Hi, is there any news about the storage limits per-app implementation?

Migrate a Cloudron app to self-hosted versionHi, I have tried searching in the forum, but I only found topics on migrating Cloudron to a different server.
I was wondering about the potential solutions for these two scenarios:-
Say I have an app hosted in Cloudron, i.e. Chatwoot. Later, I want to migrate my database to a stand-alone, self-hosted version of Chatwoot.
-
I host an app, for example, Invoice Ninja in Cloudron. Later, my client wants to host this app in their own Cloudron.
Many thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Outline - a Notion-like open source app@girish This is an excellent app to have in Cloudron. With this addition, It will make Cloudron a complete solution for everything we need for self-hosting apps.

Mautic cron settings@girish Thank you so much.
Regarding the sending email, I've set up Cloudron to send emails via relay with Amazon SES. Therefore, when I set the email in Mautic, I can use a domain email I've set up in Cloudron as a relay to send via Amazon SES. Do I get it correct? -
Mautic cron settingsHi, I'm a little late to the party; I'm about to use Mautic for the first time. I checked their documentation, and they advised to set up the cron to ensure Mautic works appropriately.
I have a few questions regarding the cron:-
Do I need to add any cronjob in the Cloudron crontab? Or Cloudron has the app pre-configured to run at specific times for "segment, campaign updates", etc
-
Do I need to add the cron mentioned here manually: https://docs.mautic.org/en/setup/cron-jobs/
According to:
https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/mautic/- I assume I can change/overwrite the cronjob on how often, for example: "mautic:segments:update" works, by adding the instance I need in the Cloudron cron section, am I right?
Thanks in advance for the tips!

Docker needs to be restarted often due to fail app updates@girish OK

Docker needs to be restarted often due to fail app updates@nebulon I use Contabo, they are having 4 times maintenance this month located in the Germany server, and since it started 1st maintenance I noticed this weird behaviour. I'd ask if we're all using the same server which may point to one thing.

Docker needs to be restarted often due to fail app updatesHello, I'm not sure what's going on with my Cloudron.
My apps always seem to get stuck halfway through updating.
To fix it, I need to cancel the update. Go to my server and issue "systemctl restart docker"
Then restore to the previous backup, and update. What do I need to do to diagnose this issue? The log in Cloudron only shows the corn log, but that's it.
-
error occurred during the uninstall operation@girish I can confirm. I had "Error : Task Error - Task 4237 stopped" and I did what you said, and it restore from backup normally.
All my updates were stuck with the same error. Coincidentally, Contabo was having maintenance before, and every time they did a repair Cloudron acted a bit weird. I suspect it might have to do with the server hosting...

ERPNext - cost-effective ERP solution@plusone-nick I'm hoping the Cloudron team will support to include this formally in Cloudron soon. There might be some hindrances, but I think it should work relatively fine now, right?
-
ERPNext - cost-effective ERP solution@nj Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but if you wish to put on a donation pot, I would be happy to contribute where I can, as a token of thanks for your hard work and time!
Thank you again for all the hard work. -
Grist | The Evolution of Spreadsheets@girish hey! What do you think about this app? Not sure how it will be packaged or the amount of work required in order to have it here, yet how feasible is it for packaging this app for Cloudron in your opinion?
-
Storage limits per-appAny news about this? This is very useful especially if we're giving access to our clients who may overuse the storage in some of the apps on Cloudron.
-
Wasabi Timed Deleted Storage@timconsidine thanks, I'll check Scaleway and Hetzner out
-
Wasabi Timed Deleted Storage@girish Yes I believe it will, Wasabi retention is 90 days anyway, so 3 months retention would work!
Thank you so much! -
Wasabi Timed Deleted StorageHi,
I noticed that my Wasabi costs has increased in the recent months. Upon investigating, I noticed that I did a frequent backup of Cloudron and the retention policy was too short. Wasabi has a 90-day deletion policy that is explained here.If you're deleting objects before they have been stored in Wasabi for 90-days then they will fall into the Timed Deleted Storage category and increase your total storage amount, which will then increase your Wasabi bill. Most customers increase their retention period to 90-days which won't reduce your total storage costs but it will allow you to use that data for 90-days since you're already paying for it.
Therefore, I wish to know how do what's the best setup for backing up Cloudron to Wasabi that anyone here uses, by keeping the costs minimal but also reliable?
I do not see any 90 days retention policy here. Any advice?CleanShot 2022-05-25 at 21.47.27@2x

Grist | The Evolution of Spreadsheets@timconsidine Thanks for the enthusiasm! Happy to share.
-
Grist | The Evolution of Spreadsheets@timconsidine pretty much yes, full python and excel formulas are supported, and you can have graphs and charts inside it without any difficulties or external app like metabase. Also REST API support makes it easy to integrates with other apps. Its designed a little bit different than the usual Airtable alternatives. You have to try it to know what I mean.

Grist | The Evolution of SpreadsheetsHi, I think some of you may have heard of this app before: Grist [https://www.getgrist.com/](link url)
. It's like Airtable + spreadsheet alternative. I have used the cloud version for a while now for serious work, and I like it so far.
They adopt an open-core model: [https://github.com/gristlabs/grist-core](link url)There is a functional docker image available. For making it public it needs a sign in services which I think Cloudron already has established? Perhaps abit more work than I would imagine for Cloudron team, but it might be totally worth it.
Would be lovely to see such app coming over to Cloudron in addition to Typebot. These two are quite polished as it is.Thanks!
