Hi, I'm a little late to the party; I'm about to use Mautic for the first time. I checked their documentation, and they advised to set up the cron to ensure Mautic works appropriately.
I have a few questions regarding the cron:-
Do I need to add any cronjob in the Cloudron crontab? Or Cloudron has the app pre-configured to run at specific times for "segment, campaign updates", etc

Do I need to add the cron mentioned here manually: https://docs.mautic.org/en/setup/cron-jobs/
According to:
https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/mautic/- I assume I can change/overwrite the cronjob on how often, for example: "mautic:segments:update" works, by adding the instance I need in the Cloudron cron section, am I right?

@nebulon I use Contabo, they are having 4 times maintenance this month located in the Germany server, and since it started 1st maintenance I noticed this weird behaviour. I'd ask if we're all using the same server which may point to one thing.

Hello, I'm not sure what's going on with my Cloudron.
My apps always seem to get stuck halfway through updating.
To fix it, I need to cancel the update. Go to my server and issue "systemctl restart docker"
Then restore to the previous backup, and update.What do I need to do to diagnose this issue? The log in Cloudron only shows the corn log, but that's it.

@girish I can confirm. I had "Error : Task Error - Task 4237 stopped" and I did what you said, and it restore from backup normally.
All my updates were stuck with the same error. Coincidentally, Contabo was having maintenance before, and every time they did a repair Cloudron acted a bit weird. I suspect it might have to do with the server hosting...

Wasabi Timed Deleted Storage
Hi,
I noticed that my Wasabi costs has increased in the recent months. Upon investigating, I noticed that I did a frequent backup of Cloudron and the retention policy was too short. Wasabi has a 90-day deletion policy that is explained here.If you're deleting objects before they have been stored in Wasabi for 90-days then they will fall into the Timed Deleted Storage category and increase your total storage amount, which will then increase your Wasabi bill. Most customers increase their retention period to 90-days which won't reduce your total storage costs but it will allow you to use that data for 90-days since you're already paying for it.
Therefore, I wish to know how do what's the best setup for backing up Cloudron to Wasabi that anyone here uses, by keeping the costs minimal but also reliable?

@timconsidine pretty much yes, full python and excel formulas are supported, and you can have graphs and charts inside it without any difficulties or external app like metabase. Also REST API support makes it easy to integrates with other apps. Its designed a little bit different than the usual Airtable alternatives. You have to try it to know what I mean.

. It's like Airtable + spreadsheet alternative. I have used the cloud version for a while now for serious work, and I like it so far.
They adopt an open-core model: [https://github.com/gristlabs/grist-core](link url)There is a functional docker image available. For making it public it needs a sign in services which I think Cloudron already has established? Perhaps abit more work than I would imagine for Cloudron team, but it might be totally worth it.
Would be lovely to see such app coming over to Cloudron in addition to Typebot. These two are quite polished as it is.Thanks!

Not sure if this is related, I started to see this too sometimes, does Cloudron behave like this when the internet connection is not strong? I've never seen this before, prior to the migration. I checked Cloudron logs, it seems related to cronjob? Possibly it may be a potential cause?I did check:

@scooke it was fresh, I only setup my ssh and followed exactly whatever was in the docs, the end result of the migration was very smooth, no problems at all. I have never tried any SFTP prior to the migration so I would not be sure.

I am not sure when this happens, but I've upgraded to the latest Cloudron a couple of days ago, and last 2 weeks I have migrated Cloudron from a different server. I rarely use any SFTP hence which is why I only discover this issue now.
I'm using Commander One and CloudMounter on Mac, and receiving an error:
"Could not connect to host error -1." β a quick Google says: This error indicates that your web server did not accept our TCP connection request, and hence the HTTP Request could not be performed.What I did to investigate:
- Check telnet

Check UFW status
Before when I did ufw status, it returns inactive. So I enabled it. -

@Aizat on the other test, I made an App Passwords, and use the password it generated instead of my Cloudron login, and it worked, moderator granted.

@nebulon I'm still getting the authentication issue, when I use my Cloudron login username, it doesn't authenticate me, and says incorrect pwd or username. Then I tried my Cloudron email, it just connecting...
Do I need to change/add something in the "jitsi-meet-config.js"? -

WordPress Developer + Hide my WP Ghost plugin = app not responding in Cloudron
Hi everyone,
Just reporting here in case anyone searching the forum about the app not responding for WP developer in Cloudron.
The issue:
The app does not respond, even after you've restarted the app, just ensure that the route to some paths is not removed/redirected by a plugin, in my case Hide My WP Ghost.Solution:
Check the log file in the app's Cloudron setting tab.
In my case, "https://mydomain/wp-includes/version.php" returns 404. So what I did what just revert back the custom wp-includes path to "wp-includes" as it was in original form (see attached below).Thanks to @nebulon for the help!

I have encountered an issue:
I cannot embed the public link as an iframe.
What I did:
Make my board public, copy the URL into Nimbus note, (it has an iframe block, so just input the URL). But it showed me this error:
"This URL is not supported or invalid. Contact us if you think that this URL can be embedded."I checked the console and it says:
Error: Request did not return embed and URL is not supported iframe render.I contacted their support and they said that the link is not supported. I tried on WordPress, and it did not work either. I tried embedding other links from other websites and it works. (I checked the header in my WordPress and it should work).
So I did a research on Github, I found this:

@chrishthompson Yes, totally agree. I tried several ERPs and this one really made me almost teary. Such a rich-featured ERP and they decided to make it open source.
It's a high quality made ERP. It has integration with WordPress and n8n.
Really wish it would be in Cloudron soon.
At the moment, I'm paying for a separate server just to deploy ERPnext. But it would lovely to have it in my Cloudron along with other apps I have here.
Cloudron team, please consider bringing it here -
Delete user or channel
Hi there! I have just installed Mattermost and been trying to play around with it. I encountered 2 main issues that I need help with.

Every time I try to unarchive a channel, the "save config" button just spinning for ages but did not apply the changes.
Its a bummer that Mattermost does not have a direct method to delete a channel or user. -
After some Googling, Mattermost CLI can delete a channel, or user. But due to my lack of knowledge, I have no idea how to use the command line here in the app terminal. But what I've tried:
root@e4cccd87-d627-4899-9fa4-b879fb03e83a:/app/code# sudo -u cloudron /app/code/bin/mattermost mmctl channel list myteam Error: unknown command "mmctl" for "mattermost" Run 'mattermost --help' for usage.
OR

@moocloud_matt that's really true.
My concern is that for example, when user uses it in public computer in laboratory for example, and they totally forget to log out manually. This can be an issue.
For public use in research team or something, I might suggest 2FA, but it is no use too, if it keep the token alive. Alternatively, editing the config file in Nextcloud seemed to do the trick. -

Just for someone else pondering for some alternative, I've also found another neat solution, where I use webcatalog. I can create a workspace and put all my Cloudron apps there. its just converting the website into an app-like application on Windows, Mac OS and Linux. I can create a custom lock after certain period of time to lock the entire workspace.
I can also log in and click never save password, so everytime I click the app in that workspace, I will need to log in again. -

This may not be a problem for many, but it was an interesting case for me. I was introducing Cloudron to one of my research colleagues in UCL as they were looking to deploy Nextcloud and various other apps that can increase their research productivity.
So I invited one of them as a user to my Cloudron to test some apps.During our recent discussion, she mentioned that she shut her laptop off last night. This morning, when she turns the laptop on, and go to my Cloudron,
it was already logged in, and it did not auto logged off. To her surprise when she click Nextcloud app in Cloudron, it went straight to her Dashboard, and it wasnβt auto-logged out too.Johannes explained to me that Cloudron has token for session keeping. Some apps within Cloudron has their own too.
In an ideal situation, we donβt want to delete our cookies because some cookies we want to enable.For the record I use Mac OS, and Safari, my friend uses Windows laptop and Firefox.
#My Concern#
In my mind, if someone stole the laptop, and can gain access into the computer , and just opening the browser can get them in to Cloudron then Nextcloud, they would get access to every personal files in there.
There is 2FA system but I'd rather have a complex password than relying on my phone to generate the 2FA code (assuming in some cases where the battery is out of battery or is lost).#My Question/ Feature Request#
Is there a method to make Cloudron auto log out after some time of inactivity? Or in this sense, to make the session keeping to be around 1 hour for example. Some websites I noticed has this feature such as Digital Ocean. Some don't, which perhaps a preferences set by the developer of the web-app in this case.
In my humble opinion, this could be a good feature to have Cloudron to auto log off after certain time.
On this point, does anyone know any trick/tips to set Nextcloud session expiration?Thanks for any insights / tips on this issue. Let me know too if you agree/disagree on such feature to auto-log off, or global setting in Cloudron for session expirations?

So I also contacted Chatwoot, apparently they have completed the basic version and are waiting for feedback from the Cloudron team to publish it on the app store.Would really love to use Chatwoot as a stable solution in replace of FreeScout (so many errors in Github, and I've just encountered one today). Chatwoot support is solid, I can imagine this app will be a gem if added in Cloudron.

Ghost CMS embed on WordPress font page
Hi, I've looked over the Ghost category but could not find an answer there regarding this topic. So my question:
Any tips on how to embed Ghost blogpost to WordPress?
A quick search has led me to:

Update
Problem fixed with restarting Linode. Probably it was some updates in the system or server that needs a good flush. I noticed it uses more RAM for working with daily tasks. Planning to use NextCloud talk soon, so I think this will be a CPU intensive feature. Will soon upgrade my VPS.

Yes you are right, I restarted the Linode and it worked much much better now.
Currently there are only 3 of us in the team, but we also want to share some files and work with clients with Nextcloud. 4GB will get choked pretty soon.And wow SSDNODES really have good price.
Most of my websites or web apps are in Linode. As you said, it's expensive. I was thinking about Contabo VPS M, but I heard mixed reviews about them. I'll give them KVM / X-LARGE a try.
For storage: Wasabi - yes I've tried the trial too, they seem quite good and price is reasonable, will try to integrate them sometime next week.@humptydumpty You are right on this point, but that was before the slowness started, I had to remove an app. Currently I only have the featured ones like deck cards, notes, and kanban add-on. I've recently tried out Collabora but I think it's resource hungry too, so I removed for now, and will add it back once I've upgraded my VPS. I did not allocate any RAM for NextCloud in Cloudron, I thought it would pull more if it needed more. Sometimes I don't run it, and use other apps.
@scooke Yes, I've checked this post earlier, I think my problem had more to do with resources that NextCloud needs vs what I have.
But restarting helps.

Nextcloud is very slow on Linode
Hi, I'm new here and happy to join Cloudron.
I've setup Nextcloud with Cloudron on my Linode 4GB plan (shared CPU: 2 Cpu, 4gb Ram).What's happening:
Logging in to my Nextcloud takes ages 3-5 minutes, and opening dashboard, mail etc also takes such a long time too. I tried running other apps such as Matomo, Freescout and it works totally fine.What I observed:
I am not sure if this is enough for Nextcloud but it's running pretty slow since day 1 even without any apps. I have around 6 apps in Cloudron since then, I've checked the system info, my CPU usage is around 10-20% and Ram usage is about 2.5gb on average.What I did
I did not do any special modification, just completely vanilla install 1 click setup of Cloudron on Linode, and that was it.
I've installed several apps in Nextcloud but nothing marked as unstable.Misc details:
My server is in Singapore and I am located in Malaysia, I checked thePlease advice me what I should do, because if it's the server performance, I'm tempted to try on other provider.
Do I need to do some tuning/ optimisation to make it work better?
