  • Backups page is missing the configure button

Hey folks, I'm trying to point my Cloudron server to backup onto a Digital Ocean Spaces volume mounted to it. I restored a previous backup from the filesystem. When I try to change my backup preference, I don't see a Configure button as the documentation would suggest:

hey folks, I was inherited a Cloudron v.7.4.3 server on Ubuntu 18.04. It's hosted on DigitalOcean, and the upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 mentions restoring from a fresh droplet instead of hosing an install.

I went to try that today and noticed Ubuntu 18.04 is no longer supported on DigitalOcean, and Ubuntu 20.04 does not support the right packages to install v7.4.3. I feel like I'm kind of stuck on how to restore our server.

Am I just hosed? Is there any way to salvage anything if I were to just make a cloudron v6 on Ubuntu 20.04? I have the backups saved locally (including the box file), but I have zero clue if I could meaningfully save my wordpress site and email app. Due to Ubuntu 18.04 retiring across the board, our site is getting nailed with brute force attacks... I'm really unsure how to proceed.

Any ideas/anything I could possibly restore?

  • cannot restore backup when mail app is included, fails relating to permission denied despite backup being chown'd by yellowtent

I'm trying to restore from a backup I've stored in a mountpoint on my DigitalOcean droplet. The following configurations begin a restore, get through the box portion, but then lulls on the mail restore (saying like 'Download 10M@1Mbps', despite being on the same machine). Once the restore fails, I get this message at the top of my restore screen:

Once I get to this screen and try to restore with the backup again, it tells me to remake the server.

  • Restore not possible when mailbox is included in backup

Hey there - I'm having a similar issue, failing on a specific mailbox restore. If I try again it claims the server is already registered, and leaves my server in a half-restored state.
