Hi all!

We use Mautic for email and automations, Wordpresss for websites and e-commerce.

We are also testing chatwoot, openproject, freescout, element, mattermost... for other needs we have: helpdesk, project management, communication with clients, chat...

The problem we are seeing is that they are independent applications, therefore everything is decentralized. The ideal would be to have a modular application in which we can have everything centralized, to simplify resources and time.

We have seen that we have Dolibarr and that we are also working on ERPNext, Odoo, Flectra... which are modular applications like what we are looking for. Although we know they have enterprise versions, so we can't have everything we need either (we can't have everything :-).

What would be for you the most complete application of this type that cloudron is working on?

I just think that at this moment maybe it would be better to focus on a modular application, than many individual ones that do the same things.

The truth is that I don't know if this thought is correct and I would like to know your opinion.

I want to start using OpenProject for our projects.

I would like to invite the team to the projects (of course), but also clients so that they do certain things, such as uploading the files necessary for the project in the onboarding phase and see how the tasks are progressing.

I have seen that in openproject there are functionalities that can only work in enterprise version. I understand that, but I don't want my clients to see that.

Do you know if there is any way to hide all the banners and functions related to the enterprise version?

@murgero Are you referring to the app basic configuration where it asks for the domain of the app? If so, then yes.

@murgero I use the Brave browser and have adblockers disabled for all our domains.

Just in case, I've also put this inside the "env" folder:

But it's not working either.

I've already done it.

I have created an app on Facebook and I have put the 3 environment variables in the "env" folder (I don't know if I have to put the access token as well).

After restarting the chatwoot app in cloudron, I try again to create the inbox with FB Messenger.

A connection window opens and stays there. I don't know what I did wrong, it's a bit hard to get this up and running.

I don't see any errors in the application logs.

The Facebook app may need to be approved by them. I'm not sure if it's active.

Just as there is a Wordpress dev app, there should be a Mautic dev app, where there is a middle ground between maintained by Cloudron or by the Mautic community.

My proposal is simply that the entire Mautic file structure be accessible, but that it only be updated when Cloudron updates Mautic managed (it's safer) and not when Mautic releases an update.

And every time the Mautic dev app is restarted, the same thing happens as with Mautic managed: Cache is cleared, etc ... and the core files are restored.

Why am I asking this? Because the entire file structure is not accessible, mautic cannot be customized.

Please think about it. I am sure that all who use mautic a lot will appreciate it.

@micmc thanks for your answer too. We have been using mautic since 2013 and we know the wp-mautic plugin well. We used it a long time ago.

The proposal to be able to modify the structure of mautic is not related to the tracking of mautic or its integration with Wordpress, but with rebranding modifications.

I didn't know whether to continue this thread or open another, but since my question is completely related, I thought I'd better stay on this thread.

I'm having trouble creating plugins for mautic (in cloudron), because not all the original files of a Mautic installation can be accessed because Cloudron only shows part of the structure.

As with Wordpress dev, there are times when I need a plugin to modify something in other files that do not appear in the file structure that the package shows.

Is there anything we can do to get the whole structure to show up?

@girish I have a question about this: Are the manual backups automatically deleted even if I have disabled the automatic backups of the application?

I will not be able to restore a backup that deletes itself. I would need to be able to tell Cloudron not to delete a certain backup automatically. ¿is it possible?.

It would be nice to be able to manually delete any backups I want and to be able to tell cloudron not to delete any one I want.

@girish Now it works! because it won't let me import if I don't put the encryption passphrase.

I have now removed the passphrase encryption (from backup settings), so that it can better recognize the files in the backup storage.

The question I ask myself now is: Will Cloudron delete the previous encrypted backups? As I changed the backup configuration (I removed encryption passphrase) I don't know how cloudron will behave.

What do you mean "Cl job"? In app Cron tab?

@girish Mautic applications are on the same cloudron server. Backup storage is at Wasabi.

@nebulon I have found the backup id in the backup storage, but it is completely impossible to find the file because the backup creates a lot of folders with completely different and big names inside. It should be easier to locate a backup.

What I can tell you is that the file exist in the original app on my server. Also, I have created a new manual backup and it doesn't work either.

Regarding the uninstall, I think I shouldn't have any problem whether there are residual files or not. I'm just deleting the app. Cloudron should never give an error with that. Deleting the app via ssh is easy, but I don't know if doing it manually will mess up any cloudron/ubuntu logs or something.

I have downloaded a backup configuration file from a Mautic (1) application. I have imported it into another Mautic (2) app with the same package version 3.0.1.

Once I clicked the import button, it started downloading the files. After it have downloaded many files, it gives me an error message:

I've tried with a third Mautic app and the same thing happens.

As I couldn't do that, I restored a previous backup in Mautic (2) and then wanted to uninstall it. I couldn't either. It has given me this error:

It seems that something is wrong with the import of a backup.

I need help to know if it can be fixed. It won't even let me uninstall the apps I've tried to import the backup from.

Is it possible to do something similar to a Wordpress demo in Cloudron?

We have installed a wordpress app with a specific configuration and plugins. That would be the initial state.

We want our clients to enter that website (with a fixed username and password), so that they can test things within the backoffice.

Our users will modify some data inside, but we want the user data to be deleted (for example every Sunday) and the web to return to its initial state. It can be a specific backup.

Is anyone in the community already doing something similar to this or is there another easy way to do it? I don't want to make a WP multisite for this because there are plugins that may not work well in multisite.

EDIT: The plugin guys tell us that the problem is the way we call to wp-cron.

So even though Cloudron calls wp-cron every minute, I would like to call it twice a day more with the typical type of call from the cron tab. Something like:

0 */12 * * * /usr/bin/php -q /public/wp-cron.php >/dev/null 2

This is the type of call that the plugin needs. It's possible?

We are interested in this image optimization plugin because it optimizes images in the cloud without a limit of megabytes. I have to try to make it work.

If you know of another plugin that does the same and works on cloudron, we can switch.

I have an image optimization plugin in Wordpress (dev) that needs wp-cron to work. It's not working with Cloudron's default settings. I don´t know why.

Is it possible that I have to call wp-cron every so often to get it to work? (2 times a day for example)
How should I do it from the Cron tab of the application?

We are creating a custom plugin for Mautic. It is evident that we do not want it to be deleted with updates or restarting the app.

The plugins folder doesn't get overwritten every time it's updated o restarted, right?.

@girish Do you remember if you had to upload the spanish translations yourself? No, I copied the translations from a clean install of Mautic 4 on Cloudron. In a clean Mautic installation, it does upload the translation folders.

It would be necessary to check if the grapejs translation files is complete, because there are many words missing to translate into Spanish.

@girish I think I have found the problem with the translation of grapejs to Spanish. I don't know if it will happen with other translations.

@girish I deleted all mautic translations folder, the themes you commented before and the grapejs plugin. Then I restarted app.

Mautic took a while to load all the changes (maybe it was the cache), but it worked!

I can now see everything in Spanish.

Surely it will be necessary to delete some other folder from the new grapejs email builder, because that is where the translation problem comes from.

Not everything is translated into Spanish, but at least it doesn't look so weird.
