@jdaviescoates Typically, I am hoping that this is the kind of situation that the upcoming VPN-per-app feature (that Cloudron @staff mentioned) will solve. That or the possibility to have a Cloudron proxyAuth in front of a publicly accessible Cloudron app (see here, here and here for example). Remains to see with what timing this addition is conceivable - but I am hopeful since this is part of @girish's wishlist. With all this said, I remain troubled by the way changes are brought/handled into/by @stirling-pdf and thus am not recommending it anymore at this stage.

Please add Russian to the list. Edit: Why can't the language folder be moved to the app/data/ ? No longer needed. I used online service instead for this one-off job.

@user123456 you can still intsall the old version, it is just hidden. Click on Stirling, then edit the URL bar to not have the "1" in the end i.e just stirlingpdf.frooodle.cloudronapp

@froodle said in Stirling v2: How to change password: Hey creator of Stirling PDF here We didn't drop it on purpose We just missed change user password in the migration to V2 The 'missed' feature discussed before was changing another users password that isn't your own We are adding both in upcoming update Also we should have roll called as admin and the can manage settings etc as description, on my screen it shows as such, could be a UI bug related to your browser or something else Are you able to provide a screenshot and extra info for that? Thank you for adding this pw-change feature. I would still prefer to have a "change password" button on my "Settings->Security" menu. It's a bit weird having to go into the "People" menu, select your own user, and then change the password from there. Here's the screenshot of the "admin role" title. It appears when you add a user. For me, it's confusing when one role is "user" and the other is a really long text (instead of "admin"): [image: 1765758773136-screenshot-2025-12-15-at-01.28.56.png]

Hi, yes indeed when I uploaded some image variations I got everything working. In my case the favicon.ico was applied, not the favicon.svg. Thank you all for your help in solving my issue.

Stirling founder here, it means nothing other than more money to support the free version Our goal is to only target enterprise users that need advanced audit logs or SAML SSO etc Outside of that we want to try make all features and improvements for all users I think so far it's going well

@froodle said in New UI Sneak peak and review: I dislike our grouping but I think that one doesnt make full sense either... I am not sure what the perfect order of things is at the moment. Hi @froodle, your question here is about information architecture - how to structure and group the information (functions) in your menu. In order to get a better idea of what groups to put those functions into, you could do a card sort exercise with your users. Card sorting exercises help software makes by asking the users for how they expect things to be organised. It takes the stress of you, the software maker. https://www.nngroup.com/articles/card-sorting-definition/ This won't give you 100% the right answer, but it will help you organise it better than you could do one your own. I hope that helps. If you'd like to talk about card sorting, let me know and I'd be happy to help you.

One is the Cloudron app package version (package version 2.10.1), one is the actual app version (0.23.1) [image: 1714383723649-9ef60c66-5069-4d72-abeb-a9cd21a3fcbd-image.png]
